Marketing Communications Awards in August

The federal government's busy season is in full swing. Last month, we saw a handful of marketing communications-focused contract awards! Here's a high-level snapshot of the larger, competitive contract awards in August:

  • PCI Productions won a $1M multimedia services contract supporting the Air Force Test Center

  • Ketchum won a $26.9M competitive call order on the CMS NEC IDIQ for the planning, developing, and executing of communications activities for CMS' Office of Minority Health; meanwhile, Porter Novelli won a $5.5M competitive call order on the same IDIQ for communication management and outreach support

  • Ogilvy won a $688K contract at NIH for marketing and outreach of the SBIR/STTR program

  • Schatz Publishing won a $6.9M contract for strategic communications supporting the General National Mortgage Association at HUD

  • Ad Council received a $5.1M contract for an alchohol-impaired driving campaign, $11.9M for a heatstroke prevention campaign, and $5.5M for a texting and distracted driving campaign at NHTSA

  • LRG won a $1.8M contract at the EPA's Office of Water for strategic communications and public engagement

  • Mediaforce won a $1.6M contract for the dissemination of education and outreach campaign PSAs for the FDA

And, we saw several competitive task orders awarded on the CDC Health Marketing Services BPA. Specifically:

  • Improving Outreach to Truck Drivers awarded to Sensis for $970K

  • Marketing Outreach for Diabetes Prevention awarded to FHI360 for $2.7M

  • Strategic communications for $1.1M and firearms messaging and asset development for $875K to Banyan Communications
