July's Marketing Communications New Business Awards
In July, we saw fewer contract awards (compared to recent months) but some very sizable contracts. Here's a high-level snapshot:
True North Communications (a partnership between FCB and Rescue) retained their anti-tobacco contract at the FDA valued around $900M
Fors Marsh Group competed (and successfully retained) a $150M follow-on contract for their COVID communications work at HHS
Brunet Garcia won a $1.2M contract at the CDC for ALS Registry Marketing and Communications
Additionally, we continued to see contract awards on the Health Marketing Services multi-award BPA at CDC including:
Message Testing and Development won by Banyan for a potential value of $985K
Training on Homelessness won by Banyan for a potential value of $267K
COVID-19 Prevention Behaviors won by Banyan for a potential value of $748K
ICF retained their Health Communications Support Services work valued at $9.1M
And, Tony Silva moved from Ogilvy to become Edelman's General Manager, Public Sector while The Hatcher Group acquired HORNE Creative Group.
