Don't forget to request CPARS on your prime contracts!

Know if anyone has recently requested CPARS for your prime contracts?

With the majority of federal contracts ending their annual performance period last month, FY Q1 (now) is a great time to request your CPARS. And, challenge them if they aren’t excellent marks down the line (unless the government is right in their assessment…).

They're a highly valuable tool for government contractors. We typically recommend requesting them annually and leveraging them throughout a proposal response (the more detailed the feedback, the more you can slice and quote in a call out box, for example). And, not simply in past performance citations.

As more and more RFPs (as well as future scheduled GWACs) are seeking ratings in lieu of past performance citations, it's important to have a system to request and effectively leverage CPARS.
