Consider the Highly Anticipated PICS III IDIQ

One of the most anticipated contract vehicles on the horizon is Public Information and Communications Services III (PICS III). It's expected to be released this month.

Background: The current iteration (NIH PICS II) is an IDIQ contract used to procure a wide range of outreach and communication support services from among 10 qualified small business contractors. 

Contract Usage: Over the past couple of years, PICS has significantly raised its profile as a vehicle of choice for government. While $81M was awarded in the previous iteration, PICS II has obligated north of $1.1B since inception with 88% of the contract awards in the last two years going to just four of the ten awardees. Anticipated competition: Due to the increased popularity as well as being the selected vehicle for more than $500M of COVID-19 campaign activities and HHS’ continued focus on streamlined acquisition, expect an incredibly competitive field of small businesses and mid-size firms (under 500 people) alike vying for a seat on the highly anticipated, upcoming PICS III vehicle.
